is good.
haha. Let's talk about beer. We have a million threads that involve beer, but I want to know everyone's abolute favorite. If you think you don't have a favorite, nut up and choose one, already. Mine is Newcastle. Shiner and Killian's are close tie for second. -------------------- Je suis toute du merde.

Killians irish red and Budweiser
-------------------- A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

I'm more of a fan of lagers than ales
I really want to try Shiner HefeWeizen though (wheat ale). Spoetzl has made me proud with their relatively decent selection. Killians and Shiner Bock are always good choices. I still haven't found an import that's to my liking. It always seems like there's too much of an iron taste in most specialty beers. -------------------- "Ah, y'know it's funny, these people they go to sleep, they think everything's fine, everything's good. I've yet to meet a beer that didn't like me, nor me it... I would say that same, but I remember once in high school when me and my buddies decided to buy two cases of St. Ides Gold, I mean what could go wrong with 6 bucks for a case of beer?! You know it's a shitty deal when it takes a bunch of 17 year old drinkers 2 months to finish off 48 beers. Had that shit in a cooler in my truck for a long time and couldn't even give it away. -------------------- LANCE IS PRO-CENSORSHIP! HE IS CENSORING MY LOVE FOR THE LORD!

I got to visit a few breweries while in Denver (including Flying Dog) and have to say that I really like some of the amber ales and of course hefewiezens.
The Great Divide Brewing Company had a great ale called "Hades" and I really liked it. I think you can pick it up at Spec's or Central Market. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |
