As usual my lust for games on the level of Oblivion and GoW are nowhere to be found
I've played through the expansion pack for Oblivion, beaten GoW on all difficulties, and the last game I picked up was "Lost Planet", which I was really kinda dissappointed with ... I saw some new "Crackdown" game but seeing the "Microsoft Game Studios" tag on it made me not get it, as every single game I've ever played that Microsoft has published has been pure crap. Is there ANYTHING cool out for 360 right now that hasn't already been out a year? -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!

Oblivion - Elder Scrolls 4? If so, replay it. Has a lot of replayability.

If you're into traditional Japanese RPG's, then check out Blue Dragon (August, I believe). It's made by the Chrono Trigger team almost entirely, which has Akira Toriyama's character design and Nobuo Uematsu's fantastic music and of course, Hironobu Sakaguchi, the fantastic director ^^ Again, typical Japanese RPG, but still looks damn good.

God I want to play this noowwwwww Me too, but I agree with the people on the forums: Bethesda needs to get some serious balls to make this a good game. They need "grit". They need to not give a shit if they offend people. Fallout is a nasty, mean, ugly no-holds-barred game, and I for one am going to be one rediculously pissed off gamer if they try to water it down to appeal to the "mass console crowd". I dont give a FUCK if Wal-Mart won't carry this game, I'll go to GameStop to get it, and so will everyone else. Fallout was not, nor should ever be, a game for casual gamers, and if they tame it down and try to make it that way they are going to lose bigtime on this deal because they have the most rabid fanbase of any game I know of right now. -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!

I just got that "Star Trek Legacy" game. Call me a closet Trekkie, but I'm having fun with it Much better on "skirmish" mode on PC... 4 defiants = win Oh and if they fuck up fallout 3 im going to cry. Things they can't do: 1. Make it first person pov (so fallout oblivion style) 2. Take away turn based fighting (little less stringent, but im not sure how i'd like taking on an entire gang without turn based fighting) 3. Take away all the amazing attributes, perks, etc. of making a character 4. Make it have less than 4 endings |

Honestly if you ever played Fallout: Tactics, I like the real-time combat mode better than in FOT2 ...
Personally I wish they would include all the tactical elements of FOT Tactics with the storyline and RPG elements of FOT2. ... I really liked tactics. But, I fail to see how they're gonna be able to do that using the Oblivion engine .... I am going to be so pissed off if this is just an oblivion "fallout clone" or whatever. -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!

Um... i just described 1 AND 2 ... and yes i want it to be like 1 & 2 and tactics = no yea... that really is the point of calling it ________ 3... meaning it's the same as the other games. if it was something totally different.... then it wouldn't be fallout, now would it? i've never played the games, but i always hated how they ruin a good game because they have to keep changing shit about the games for sequals. if it ain't broke, don't fix it. -------------------- |

Amen to that... but the other arguments are that its the story and atmosphere of the game that is important and not how the game is made... I disagree with that personally -------------------- |

Going back to fallout ..
How can you possibly say you don't want the tactical combat system in FOT incorporated into a greater FOT game? My god that would be the ULTIMATE .... I thought the combat system in FOT was orders of magnitude better than the one in the previous FO games. -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!

I thought the combat system in FOT was orders of magnitude better than the one in the previous FO games. And i just disagree I loved the turn based fighting so much better.... (but i like that type of fighting system) So as i said, i'd like them to have that, but if they successfully incorporate a fighting system that isn't just point and click and requires some kind of strategy i'll be happy. To me its all about using all the attributes, skills, perks, etc. in the game in ALL ASPECTS (including talking, fighting, traveling, etc) to make the game a true "fallout" game. Haha, maybe my opinion would be different if i weren't playing fallout 2 right now -------------------- |
