So I'm watching the NBC world news last night (dunno why I even bother, all it does anymore is piss me off), and they had a quick story about the tornado disaster in Kansas. So what would you imagine they'd show? Interviews w/the survivors? City officials? Discussing the rebuilding/search for more dead/etc? No. NBC news gives us a couple minute speech from some democrat congressbitch (don't really care what her name was) about how these people might have had more humvees for aid if it weren't for Bush's war in Iraq.
This is downright pathetic. Not only do the democrats in "power" and the media already take every attempt to twist things and manipulate stories to take shots at the president, but now they've stepped into an area where people have lost their lives, their homes, their entire town, and brought up the war, essentially belittling what happened there. What's even more pathetic is they think they're just in doing so, and think they have some massive following. The only glimmer of hope I see, is that the liberal mediabitches are actually coming out and complaining that conservative talk shows are showing people how stupid and corrupt they are, and have them crying like babies that they're losing advertising dollars Oh and one more thing while I've skewed off into a rant, you guys know that congress presented a bill that would call for troops to be pulled out by X date right? what I didn't realize until the other day, is that in that bill, they threw in a measure to raise minimum wage. WTF has minimum wage got to do with troop funding? Absolutely nothing. So why would it be in there? Because come election time, they want to say that republicans voted against an increase in minimum wage. They put shit in there, into a bill they knew damn well the president would veto and that they wouldnt have enough votes to override, so they can use it as ammo in the coming elections. Thank you democrat congress, for all you've accomplished so far. I'm extremely happy with the time & money you've put to great use. have a nice day |

Back on topic, I was reading one of these reports about the humvees and they made it out to sound like the state owned them, not the US Army. Is that true? I was under the impression that the National Guard and Army Reserves were all financed through US Army funds. If this is the case, then so what if they took their personnel and their equipment over to the sandbox? They need the manpower and not enough people are volunteering to supply it. Besides, other states are sending over support.
On a side note, the destruction caused by that tornado was amazing and I now realize that if we have a tornado, I don't stand much of a chance in my current residence. Maybe I should write up a will just in case shit happens so the parents can know where all my finances are. -------------------- Spam? Isn't that something poor people eat?

Lance, i've explained to you what i was referring to, if you'd like to continue your childish little twisting of what i said, go right ahead. no matter how much you call me retarded or imply words where they don't exist, I do not believe Iraq played any part in 911.
Are there terrorists in Iraq right now? Yes. Do we need to fight them? Yes. Hell, even the sunnis are joining US in the fight against them! Although you'd have to dig around to find that news, as the lefty news outlets haven't played that up much lately. All I'm saying is responding to Lance's "fix your own country before you start worrying about third world bitches on the other side of the globe". There are most definitely "third world bitches" all over the globe we should be worried about. |

so the CIA funded and trained these people to use boxcutters and fly jets that didn't exist yet? No, but the CIA did train, support and arm Osama Bin Laden and his mujahideen fighters in Afghanistan. Given the nature of the cold war, it seems highly reasonable that the CIA would back any movement to humiliate Soviet forces. QUOTE iraq = THIRD WORLD BITCHES terrorists = THIRD WORLD BITCHES iraq != terrorists You can't assume that all third world "bitches" are terrorists, but they are all definitely the economic "bitches" to the westernized world. Not all terrorists are "third world bitches". Timothy McVeigh, and the unabomber were both "first world bitches" -------------------- A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. i think he speaks the truth. instead of just calling him an idiot, back up your claims with some valid input. QUOTE yeah lets make sure we get some anti-war pansy in office who will lay down and let people who hate us get away with whatever they want. hope you speak arabic. You assume that anyone that is against war (namely unjust wars fought under false pretenses) is automatically a pansy. Wrong, my internet friend. Ever heard of diplomacy? It's this method used to avoid armed conflicts. It has a decent track record, especially when it's actually attempted. Yeah, I know war is an inevitability in some cases, but to actively seek out armed conflict as an original method of resolution is a dangerous and ignorant system of foreign policy. It seems this would be common sense to most, but apparently our generation is still quite lacking in that area. And this re-goddamn-diculous claim that "losing" in Iraq will lead to us speaking Arabic is as retarded of a claim as any I have ever heard/read in my life. If we invited the Shah of Iran to be our new "Minister of Life" or some shit, then yeah...I'd start cracking open the Arabic dictionary. Not going to happen though. And to make such claims as that, and I assume you mean "pansy" to be any Democrat (given you past history of posts), are simply ignorant and show a couple blindness by party affiliation. Think outside the damn box. Not that hard, I promise. -------------------- |

I'd be happy to watch Hilary Clinton attempt to go talk diplomacy with Osama. Perhaps you can enlighten us all here how we go about being diplomatic with him, and how not to look like a complete, weak, pathetic, pansy in going to sit down with a man who mass murdered people in our country and be diplomatic. Yeah that's not a slap in the face to every single American citizen. We do not negotiate with terrorists.
And I didn't say that losing in Iraq means we'll all be speaking arabic. I said that showing weakness to our enemies will. And it's true. Ayman al-Zawahiri, the second in command of al Qaeda, took the democrats bill calling for troop withdrawl dates as America being defeated in the war. They're already seeing the weakness the democrats are bringing to our government, and believe you me, they will take advantage of it. We do practice diplomacy with other countries. We had talks with Saddam for nearly five years after he began violating UN nuclear weapons sanctions. We have been in talks with Iran & Syria for a while now. I dunno where you're making up all this BS about us just rushing in troops without ever uttering a word in diplomacy. If you'd break away from the kumbaya campfire for a few minutes and come back to reality, you'd realize that you can't make 6 billion people get along, and that there will always be hatred and violence. |

Iranians speak Farsi. -------------------- A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

The Shah? Arabic? Iranians speak Farsi. Ah yes, big error on my part. Shah was overthrown a long time ago. Meant to say either the "Supreme Leader" or "President" of Iran. -------------------- |

America has nearly forgotten about 911 and Osama or so it would seem.
They were tactful in delicately leading american minds from what really happened (911) to what they wanted to do prior to the attacks (invade Iraq) but that doesnt tick very many people off or our own government using soliders stories (lynch, tillman) for war propaganda. the very people they claim so much support for so they appear patriotic. but thats not morally apprehensible to anyone so yes lets discuss politico talk of some militant congressho -------------------- Little monkeys making money
