Being president is not always about experience...

Sometimes you need a fresh young candidate to rejuvenate the country. I hate Hillary Clinton.

She has a decent chance. If she wins, the democratic party is doomed in 2008...

This country does not need another rank-and-file Republican in office for a loooooong time. McCain- okay, he'd be alright (he's a very hypocritical guy, especially when it comes to his rationale on banning all forms of MMA...), but I don't see any other Republican that could stand a chance against a solid Democratic candidate (other than Hilary...).

i dont believe that she was "president for 8 years before". she took a major step down in her own career and bill took over and i believe hes most definitely the one that led the white house.

i think hilary will get past the primaries at least for awhile but thats it. i think a lot of the country doesnt like her and the population that does is silly. i also agree that the smear campaign shes running against her own party members is horrible and makes her look bad. and not just a smear campaign but the most pathetic and horrible kind. in this kind of time pulling the race/religion card on obama

I was still young for a majority of Clinton's presidency, but I seem to remember Hillary C. being EXTREMELY more vocal than most first ladies. Bill led the Whitehouse, but Hillary sure did have a lot of say

Mitt Romney, Rudi Guilani (sp?) to name a few ...

I think Rudi would have a field day if he ran against Hillary.

I think hilary is the right person for getting things done. I think she is extremely effective at leadership and politics. However, she has horrible charisma. She motivates, not because people like her, but because they're afraid she'll destroy them. She's the equivalent of an evil dictator: incredibly effective, just not nice about it.

Our politicians have become sloppy and lazy. Right now, I definitely think they need the whip. So she has my vote.

*I am fully aware this is probably an unpopular opinion.

imho hilary's annoucement pretty much just sealed the deal... mccain wins the 2008 election, so long as he doesn't die of old age first laugh.gif

(also just fyi this doesn't mean he's my choice, just sayin)

does anyone know of a somewhat neutral site where you can read all of their political views and stances on key issues?

Rudy has a decent chance of getting nominated. Of course, McCain is still the favorite.

what is this an oligarchy or monarchy? there should be a law banning people of the same family from running for president

if hillary wins in the next election that would mean we'd have two families (clinton/bush) running the country for a total of 32 years

switching between the clintons and the bushes is like switching between coke and pepsi

don't vote for hillary, we don't want to live under the same clinton/bush hierarchical oligarchy that brought rampant illegal immigration, the devaluation of the dollar, the gigantic deficit, 9/11, and hatred of the U.S. around the world

for the love of god vote for ron paul, the only true constitutionalist, and barak obama if all else fails, it's time to get this crime syndicate out of power

I refuse to vote for someone who wants to take the consitutional literally. It was meant to be interpreted.

I have my doubts about Hillary actually making it into the Whitehouse but if she does I very much doubt the future of our country.

She will turn us into a completely pacifist nation and turn the economic situation (which last time I checked was great) upside down. I want to hear more of her policies before I completely write her off but her history of being a vocalist against the Iraq war by comparing it to Vietnam has just put a bad taste in my mouth. Her and Jabba the Hut (Ted Kennedy).

So because she motivates by fear she's a good candidate? Bush didn't just intimidate, he acted, and now he's "evil". I'm sorry, the way to run a country is not by using the Hitler and Stalin methods of fear and intimidation.

agreed...in the time of one dicked up war the last thing we need is some mouthy broad whose openly outspoken against the military. her husband did enough to weaken the mil and lay the tracks for 9/11....she would totally destroy us.

I'm 100% serious when I say that I am already looking for another country to move to. I want one free of all the bullshit. one that doesn't stick her nose into everyone else's beeswax all the time. one in which muslim extremists are afraid of. like china. I may become chinese. ching chang chong motherfucks!

lol, nah new zealand is taking american priors as officers in their army and paying well. you can have dual citizenship and whatnot. I can say that is all my travels, I have never met a NZ soldier...which tells me they stay the fuck at home and don't act as baby sitters.

America...fuck yeah... ermm.gif

NZ would be cool. I am looking at Europe but most of those don't allow dual-citizenship sad.gif

I believe in a strong military but it has to be properly managed. Just letting it turn to crap and using it as a police force is stupid.

if hillary wins in the next election that would mean we'd have two families (clinton/bush) running the country for a total of 32 years

where do you get 32 years?

Bush I - 4 years
Clinton - 8 years
Bush II - 8 years
Clinton (assuming she wins) ?? -4
24
re- election?? - 4
28

agreed...in the time of one dicked up war the last thing we need is some mouthy broad whose openly outspoken against the military. her husband did enough to weaken the mil and lay the tracks for 9/11....she would totally destroy us.

America...fuck yeah... ermm.gif

I admire china's ability to quickly solve societal problems. This country is so over zealous about 'freedom' that often times we end up endangering the entire populous.

edit: I am totally not serious.

Sorry, I was kidding. Rereading it I realize there was no way to tell. China has ridiculous policy regarding dealing with societal problems. I'm sorry, but if some government official came into my home and murdered my dog, there would be a political assassination. If my government slaughtered peaceful protesters, there would be a political assassination. If my government refused to let me have more than one child despite my ability to provide for those children, there would be a political assassination. Either way, I don't think I would last long as a chinese citizen.

It's widely known that George H. W. Bush pulled the strings as Vice President to Ronald Reagan.

Reagan (Bush I) - 8
Bush I - 4
Clinton - 8
Bush II - 8
Hillary - 4 or 8

If you don't want to include the years Bush II pulled the strings behind Reagan then 28 is still a hell of a long time to have two families running the country.

Bush may have pulled Reagen's strings in the final years because he was losing his mind.

if hillary gets elected the sled I just got will be worthless no matter how much snow falls in the forests, and even if that didn't happen, I'll be out of a job unless I wanna sling burgers for richer than hell tourists from southern california and new york, and I'll be free to live a life of misery because the only people who can afford gas will be rich media moguls and whatnot with snobby liberal agendas.

And then the country will get nuked and we'll all be dead anyways.

Yeah. Let's elect Hillary rolleyes.gif
