51" Sony KP-51WS510
Resolution: displays regular 480i, 720p, 1080i. I have a computer hooked up and it will display 1920x1080 resolution.
Dimensions: 47 tall x 53 1/8 wide x 25 5/8 deep, 172lbs
Inputs: 1 DVI, 2 Component, 3 S-Video, 4 Composite, 2 RF
Speakers: 2x20W

I bought it in June 2004 at Radio Lab here in Lubbock for $1,700, and am asking $700. It's in great condition, absolutely nothing wrong with it and has great picture quality. It's on rollers so it's easy to move around on a hard floor. I have the original Radio Lab receipt as well as the original manual and remote. It has been moved twice, both times by professional movers. It's here in Lubbock and I'm not planning on delivering it.

heh whats funny is this buddy of mine i used to work with, is freakin crazy, he'll throw shit away. he was throwing away those bose speakers (they are pretty old, but still sound great), along with a kenwood 2 channel amp because they "took up too much space" so i nabbed em. He threw away a damn Hauppauge PVR250 tv tuner the other day without telling me... the punk.

and the towers... look a lot like the $300 Bush "Galaxy" audio stand, but it's some other brand, got em for $80 each at wal mart. last time i went through that section at wal mart i still saw em there.

depending on when my new TV & stand arrive, i may sell the stands too (if my new TV stand has enough room for all the components)... if so, $50 for the pair sounds reasonable to me.

yeah, $700 is damn cheap for the tv. I wouldnt go any lower than that. If I had a little bit more money in the bank, I would drive down to Lubbock and take you up on it.

I might have to look into those stands at walmart

haha, that's what i was thinking, but for something else equally expensive. i'm past the point in the year where i worry about how i have no money, and now all i can think about is that sweet, sweet student loan in january and how i'm going to blow it all in two months.

Adding in an original Xbox which has an Xecuter3 mod chip, 2 controllers, memory card & USB reader, and live headset. Not sure what it should go for so make an offer if you want it.

Do you live in Lubbock Chuck?

I need to get a confirmation with roommate Chuck on whether or not he wishes to go in on the cost (when I get my tuition rebates).

be careful... moving projection screen tv's is pretty tedious work. the projection guns and aligner thingamajiggers inside have to be realigned/replaced if it bounces around too much so you have to be really careful...not to mention they are heavy as shit !

it was a pain in the azz to move my 62" 2 miles down the road, much less 300+ miles from LBK to Austin

yeah that's why i'd recommend someone who lives close by buy it (and also why i'm not delivering it smile.gif). i can demonstrate that the TV works and show some HD content via the xbox 360, just make sure you know once it's paid for it's yours. just strap it down and drive slow and take a smooth route are my recommendations. and yes the TV is in Lubbock.

yeah the xbox is separate, i need to go open it up to see which HD is in it bc I don't recall. it has an Xecuter3 chip w/the front panel control (can turn the console on with or without the mod). has 2 controllers w/extension cables, let me take the time to take some pics and get more info and make a separate post on it.

A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

heh i hear ya.. i'd just hate to see someone buy it then drive 300 miles with it and have it mis-aligned or something when it got there. i could be wrong hell i dunno. i think these things have some kind of locking mechanism once you unplug them for x amount of time. and obviously they travel pretty far from the manufacturer. i guess i just want to make sure if someone is wanting to purchase it and travel with it, to be aware that they need to be extremely careful.

yeah and it's a pretty nice couch. there's a few threads pulled from *cough* erin's *cough* punk cat, but other than that it's in good shape. I'm in the interview process with a few companies right now, as soon as I know I'm moving I'll post a ton of stuff up. I'm not in a huge hurry though so I'm bein pretty picky on companies. Could still be a couple months.
