this is not "news" per se, so I'm posting it here.

when i see the video it looks to me like they shot him right as he pointed the gun towards them, and only dropped the gun bc he f'n was shot... and the dog got shot because he ran up right into their line of fire...

I think he was reacting to the dog coming at him by covering his face. Police shot at him becuase of his quick movement. Bad on the k-9 guy.

i dunno.. .maybe the sound is off or something, but i hear the shots being fired before he ever throws the gun down. to me it seems like the guy was like... "oh shit theyre actually shooting me" and threw his gun down.

audio and gunfire seem to be off, because the blasting seems to be happening (with no bullets hitting), then the guy throws the gun as being attacked by dog, then shots registering.
Looks like (if no audio), they release the dog, he went to throw the gun down so not attacked, they thought he was gonna shoot the dog, and opened fire... sad, someone got shot (oh and the dog to i guess) |

ok however it happened, if you blame the cops for this you're a fucking idiot. i heard "put the gun down" no less than 8 times before the guy was shot.
and when you put it down, you dont make a quick movement TOWARDS the cops to put it down. imho the guy deserved his fate... as for the dog, the handler was a dipshit to release him, and is at fault for the dog getting shot. it also says "murderer on the run"... doesnt say what happened, but if the guy had already killed someone, that makes it even more tense and even more reason to fucking put the gun down when the cops yell at you to 8 f'n times |

aaaaah yeah ok i gotcha... at first i thought this was some omg innocent guy police shot him blah blah. yeah... dipshit dog handler let the poor thing go... even after the guy said "I'll shoot if you release the dog". you can hear the guy go "WHAT THE FUCK" and gettin all pissed... it's like... dumbass if you didn't release the damn dog he wouldnt have gotten shot.
