No one because I'm registered in New Mexico. I don't know who I would've voted for if I'd been in TX.

Kinky
-------------------- A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

"No one" was not an option because if you did not vote for someone or cannot vote for one those candidates, you have no business being in this thread.

"No one" was not an option because if you did not vote for someone or cannot vote for one those candidates, you have no business being in this thread. Why not? I'm interested in the TX gubernatorial race, but I can't vote in it because I live in Albuquerque. Being able to vote in the poll was convenient because then I can see the results in this thread without having to click the "View Results" button every freakin' time. -------------------- |

"No one" was not an option because if you did not vote for someone or cannot vote for one those candidates, you have no business being in this thread. The thread asks the question who did you vote for. "No one" is a valid response to that question. How is that not relevant? -------------------- Holy shit, pebkac, you're awesome! "No One" is actually a valid response. The question does not ask "did you vote", it simply asks who did you vote for. If you did not vote, then you voted for no one.

I disagree with your disagreement.
Anywho, I probably would've voted for Chris Bell or Kinky Friedman. Dunno which, as I didn't look into it *that* much... As is, I voted for John Dendahl for NM governor. He's a Republican, but incumbent Bill Richardson is a corrupt, money-wasting fuckwad. -------------------- |

I voted Kinky for Governor (mainly because he opposes the Trans-Texas Corridor), and straight Libertarian for everything else.
I had to use Diebold voting machines. I thought about changing everyone else's vote to Kinky too, but I didn't want to risk getting arrested today. Rocky came to vote too, but they wouldn't allow him to come within 100 yards of the elementary school where I voted. |

the thing that sucks is that there are so many candidates that even though perry wont get more than half the votes, there are so many other people who are splitting the rest of the votes that none of them are going to get more than him. so while the majority of voters are technically voting against him, he will probably win because thats not how the government works...

I voted for Strayhorn. She opposes the TTC which I do and shes not far out like Kinky. I was debating between her and bell but I don't like Bell's record on taxes.

According to CNN's projections, Perry's going to take the election. -------------------- Holy shit, pebkac, you're awesome! Anyone who calls themself liberal of conservative is a tool of the two party sytsem In all fairness, if he was a conservative I would have said the same thing I think politics in its current stage is fucking retarded. I refuse to vote until I have a reason to vote and my vote will actually count. Lets get rid of the electoral college so that our vote really counts! Also, there is so much corruption in politics that I dont know why people insist on voting straight ticket. Thats fucking stupid. |
