Any real reason to try intalling my motherboard's SMBus or IDE drivers if everything seems to be working well already?

Just asking cause I think they were the reason my computer was fucking up.

motherboard drivers are a scary thing. if everything's working fine, i wouldn't bother. the IDE drivers are prolly safer to play around with then the SMBus drivers. if you do, you might wanna make sure you save a "last known good boot config" thingie
