Go to Best Buy, and get the XBox 360 HD DVD addon ($179). There's a deal where you can get 3 free HD DVDs with it. The 'glitch' is that it's allowing you to get boxed sets instead of just single HD DVDs. I grabbed the 360 Addon ($179) + Heroes Season 1 HD DVD box set ($99) + Matrix Collection HD DVD ($89) + Planet Earth HD DVD set ($79). Total was $482, I paid $194.84. There is also a rebate printed out with the receipt for 5 more free HD DVDs.
So in all you get: 360 HD DVD Addon King Kong HD DVD (comes with the addon) 3 more HD DVDs of your choice at the store, including expensive boxed sets 5 more HD DVDs via rebate (limited selection, but still). Even if you don't have a 360, you could no doubt make money just selling all this stuff. I will be selling the Addon on ebay probably. Just thought I'd pass it along. Enjoy. |
