Yes sir she was, I think it was her JR year that she decided she'd have a better time watching the games than marching, to each his/her own, ya know?

if i was still in college i wouldn't do it anymore either. mr. anderson is a dick.

Were you still uttering "ew, ew, EWWWWW!" while looking at them? =P

LOL, naw....because the kissy ones were done tastefully. They weren't tacky with them licking each other's spleens.

I'm sure whatever girl agrees to marry you will need to be willing to do "zombie" pictures...the two of you eating each other's entrails. tongue.gif

Any photographer who has the phrase "Black, Ninja STEALTH outfit" in their FAQ is A-OK.

Yay for you guys. What location(s) did you use for your shoot? In Lubbock?

As for why we did them - I wanted good pictures of us. Professional ones where they do touch ups (you know, get rid of the flyaway hair that ruins an otherwise perfect picture) and they know how to pose you in the right blend of light and setting and such. Basically, art with us in it, created because of us. Anyone can pose for a friend using a disposable camera, but it's the moments where we're NOT posing that wind up catching us in our best light (IMO) and it's good to have professional equipment to document that raw happiness.

If anyone else is interested in photography, we used Jerod Foster for our engagement pictures. He teaches/assists with the Photocomm stuff in the MCOM dept. and I think we were his first engagement shoot. Judging by how blown away we were with our results, I can only imagine how much better the stuff he's used to shooting would turn out.

Not to steal your thread thunder Jared smile.gif

Your guess is as good as mine. They were included in the wedding photography package and we figured why not?

For mine, since we took our engagement pictures on the Tech campus but got married in Fort Worth, it didn't make sense to pay our wedding photographer to travel 5 hours to Lubbock for a few hours worth of shooting. So we hired Jerod. 3 hours on campus, 3 outfits = $200.

Definitely depends. More experience/a better known name will be more in demand and therefore more expensive. Time of the year also dictates availability which leads to demand [there is an off season for weddings - mainly winter - so even if you don't get married in the off season maybe getting your pictures done then will alleviate some cost - either that, or book wayyyyy in advance (I know people planning 2009 weddings who are running into difficulties with vendor availability...)]

Of course, the city will also dictate the pricing.

In other words, I'm sorta screwed as I'm right next to Chicago. Yay.

I've heard of Kristin...

I mentored a little bit with a wedding photographer out in Lago and he said she does some amazing stuff.
