Okay, this has to be one of the most morbidly fascinating things I've discovered on the interwebs in years:
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice's Final Meal Request site. (They recently took it down, but you can grab the archived version here: http://web.archive.org/web/20031001190442/.../finalmeals.htm) They list the offender's name, number, and a link to their information, as well as the final meal request. Some are fucking huge, like 24 tacos, some are simple, like a tub of ben & jerry's. It's absurdly fascinating. And of course, we're lead to the obvious question: What would your last meal be? Post'em if you got'em. I'm thinking I would have:
1 Bowl of Chicken Tortilla Soup (preferably from Saltgrass) 1 Big fucking New York Strip Steak (Not sure how I'd have it cooked/seasoned) 2 Liters of Coke/Dr. Pepper (Not sure which mood i'd be in) 1 Plate of Nachos with beef 4 Rolls with butter 1 bowl of chili (With onions and cheese, no beans) 1 of my home made Grilled cheese sandwiches 1 Small Yellow Cake with Chocolate Frosting. Not the sugary confectionary kind. 1 Bowl of BROWN gravy. 1 Bowl of Chicken Fried Rice 1 Bowl of Miso soup 1 Bowl of Steamed Broccoli with lemon juice 1 Buttered Corn on the Cob (full sized) 1 A&W Root Beer Float, with extra Root Beer on the side 1 Pack of Camel Filters (with lighter) I feel like i need more cheese in there, but I'm not sure exactly how. -------------------- WAIT. I'm not finished.

anything or reasonable? because ive seen documentaries on these things, and they dont give you just anything you want. if they dont have it in their kitchen already, its tough luck.

just because they will be executed doesnt mean they havent changed while in prison. some of those offenders committed their crimes in the mid 80s and were put to death 10+yrs later
people in prison love their jesus i remember the karla faye tucker execution in huntsville. she almost got out of it because she was a born again christian -------------------- Little monkeys making money

You know, some time before they stabbed someone 37 times with a hunting knife before raping them. -------------------- ![]() ![]() |

I guess that's true, Cathryn. Just ironic.
As for my last meal, I always thought it was a single meal, not a hodge podge of everything I could want. Be that as it may, here is my list: Salad with apples, candied walnuts and bleu cheese Chicken sandwich with teriyaki and grilled pineapple (a la Red Robin) GOOD french fries Macaroni and cheese (from Boston Market) Cornbread Rolls and cinnamon butter (like Texas Roadhouse) Nacho cheese Doritos United strawberry soda Carton of chocolate milk (not the powder/syrup mix, the premade kind) Mint chocolate chip ice cream Chocolate cake with fudge icing -------------------- Forget regret
or life is yours to miss |
