and cows because anything OTHER than a cow will go after something so if even a cow does you got a problem with whatever livestock you have

also majority of the people in the US dont live in situations like that (ie a viable need to own a gun to protect yourself from daily rabies infested bear attacks). also less and less people live in those situations the world over

edit: wait i suppose goats wouldnt go after a coyote but typically you would have another form of livestock there to protect your own. ie mixing a donkey in or some horses or dogs. people have been doing that for thousands of years. it is also adorable

I would say that this shows a significant increase in # of children (not sure what age constitutes a child though) killed by firearms. And I guess Impala would have to agree with this statement because the US is an order of magnitude above, but feel free to refute this fact...

the one argument against guns is "they are meant to kill" and thats the reason they should be banned. Well i think thats the reason they SHOULDN'T be banned. Take guns away and violence remains in the form of stabbings and other ways to kill people. There was a news article lance posted where i think britian was banning knives from being carried.... yeah thats not retarded.

Personally if someone breaks into my house, or an animal is on the loose that is posing a danger, i'd rather not have to go to hand to hand combat in order to be safe. What if its only my wife and children in the house when someone breaks in? Does a female need to go to hand to hand combat in order to be safe too?
