Ok so I was doin kinda a breakdown of my spending over the year so far and was fairly disgusted with just how much i've spent goin out to eat (i recently changed over to bringing my lunch to work and its knocked 5 lbs off in the first two weeks wink.gif). basically i went out to eat every day for lunch for work, both in my old job and my new one. and then went out at night a couple times a week (usually taking the parents or friends out and paying). I used excel and sorted it by restaurant, and here's the nasty deed. It made me curious, if anyone else cares to draw up theirs, where all have people eaten and how much did ya spend so far this year? (since 1/1/2007). this is only my checkcard transactions, but i never use cash. bank of america lets you download in .csv format so its easy to sort. i wrote a short lil app to strip all the "CHECKCARD 1234"s out if anyone needs it.

For 2007 I've been to Applebees twice for a total of $27.18

I've also spent about $50 cash on Freebirds, McCallister's(sp), Subway, and a Mongolian place.

So about $10 a month eating out

I like to cook and I'm good at it so I don't eat out often.

track expenses.

i know that i spend way too much on mountain dew.

i tried keeping track of how much money i spent on it a few years ago.

it was comparable to cigarettes.

yeah that's why i never use cash, so i can go back and track stuff. i always use the check card, even if it's $1. although yeah it'd be hard to track one specific item like mountain dew.

I really don't know too much given how I've been all over the place since January and all plus my job that I had basically required me to eat out daily (9pm-8am times ohmy.gif )

But, recently, I usually only eat out once a week. Buffalo Wild Wings on Tuesdays for the $.25 wings.

I fucking love Sweet Mesquite....

I grew up going there every other Friday (in Sugarland). Bad ass arcade and good Tex-Mex/American.
