Looks good, but sadly too dark, which only pisses me off. I'd rather have a good fight than playing hide and seek all game trying to figure out which dark place they are gonna attack me from. Maybe i'll try the demo and see how it plays

But like F.E.A.R., if they can make the battle sequences worth while it can make me ignore the cheesy scary parts. -------------------- |

Whatever you do don't get the PC version, people are reporting problems left and right.
For one thing the DRM included with the game gives you only two installations... anymore after that and you're fucked. You're supposed to be able to uninstall the game and get your "installation right" back, but the DRM is screwed and isn't letting people get their "installation right" back after uninstall. Second, the DRM bundled with the game uses hooking calls, hijacks windows system files, interferes with McAfee, Norton, AVS, Avast, and other virus scanners. The game includes a rootkit called SecuROM. Even the DEMO contained the rootkit! Why include DRM and a rootkit with a fucking Demo? Anyone remember the Sony rootkit fiasco? Will companies ever learn? Fuck Bioshock and 2K Games (the company). http://www.digg.com/pc_games/Backlash_agai...oshock_mounting |

I was interested in the game, but not now.
I'll be downloading the rootkit-free pirated version off bittorrent. Had the company actually released a non-defective game I would have gladly put my money down for it. DRM doesn't stop pirates from pirating software, all it does is piss off consumers so they TURN to piracy, those dumbass fucking sons of bitches. |
