Group: Members Posts: 10,620 Joined: 23-February 06 From: Houston, TX Member No.: 48	looks like some problem with it trying to use IPv6. go to control panel->administrative tools -> services, right click on "IP Helper" and go to properties. select "disabled" from the startup type dropdown list, and stop the service if it's already running. then restart the comp and give it a shot.

Group: Members Posts: 10,620 Joined: 23-February 06 From: Houston, TX Member No.: 48	somethin has to be hosed with your connection set up. open up IE, go tools->internet options->conections tab and read off whats in the box (if anything). also click "LAN Settings" and check the "Automatically detect settings" if it's not checked. if it wasnt checked, close IE and try a web page. when you're testing, try a web page you haven't gone to. two more commands to try in the cmd prompt: ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew also ipconfig /flushdns
