I have noticed a disturbing trend towards the "my shit don't stink" kinda pedestrians out there. People will walk right down the middle of a street, then give you a dirty look or act like you did them wrong by honking at them or driving quickly around them. People will walk in the middle of the motherf'n parking lot row at the store, as if they didn't even know you were there. Or when you stop in front of the store as you're pulling in, you let some pedestrians cross, and they walk as slow as possible, not giving a shit that you're waiting on them.

I was at a sonic the other day, put my truck in reverse and was about to leave, looked back and one of the employees is standing about 5 feet behind my truck, along with one of her friends. they're just standing there, having a conversation with another employee who's across the parking lot. I back up a foot or so, so they see that I'm trying to leave. The girl looks back, sees me, then just continues on her conversation for another 15 seconds or so, then begins to walk away, I naturally am pretty pissed by now and back up fairly quickly to show my displeasure. The girls were at least 5-6 feet away from the truck by then, but her little friend still felt compelled to knock the window of my truck w/her keys! I rolled the window down and exchanged words, and the employee started bitchin at me sayin she's a pedestrian and I almost hit her. i noted the bitch's name and of course filed a complaint with sonic corporate. but still, WTF?!? I probably would have just let it go and brushed it off had the stupid bitch not hit my f'n window. people have no f'n common courtesy anymore at all. I suppose courtesy aint so common nowadays.

i gotta say though, going up the ladder works. when the dealership working on my truck after the lightning strike started dragging their feet gettin shit done (the thing had been there for two weeks), I looked up who the owner of the dealership was, saw that it was some company that owned hundreds of dealers. I looked up that company's CEO and did his firstname.lastname@company.com and sent my concerns to him. my truck was finished and ready to go one day later. been runnin great ever since.

I saw some mexican chick walking across the street, some car literally slammed on it's brakes and screeched to a halt 4 inches in front of her (she's crossing an intersection with a green light) locking up all their brakes trying not to kill her stupid ass and end up in jail.

She flicked the driver off.



By the same token though, having worked at Sonic, it's generally considered common courtesy to wait for any carhops behind you to get out of the way and always yield to them. At least once or twice a year some asshole mows down a carhop (and not by backing up over them; by speeding out of the fucking parking lot and not having room to brake). However, a carhop just standing behind a car chillin isn't really doing their fucking job in the first place, and I can think of positively no reason a carhop should be chillin behind a car aside from picking up trash, so that bitch probably deserved it. One thing I've noticed is that all the Sonics in LBK are run by white trash piece of shit asshats that don't give a fuck and couldn't make more than $30 in tips a day if their fucking life depended on it. (Sad, even by sonic standards) That and the LBK locations are dirty and slow as shit.

For the record, all (with the exception of the two or three corporate stores) of the sonics in Collin County (owned by Dennis Clark -- he has like 35 fucking sonics) consistently get rated in the top 50 stores nationwide, and most of them place in the top 20 in the Dr. Pepper Sonic Games every year. (Think Sonic Olympics)

Just stay away from the sonic off of Preston in Frisco. They're corporate, and consistently score 29 or worse on their health inspections (30 is failing.)

edit: and employees aren't supposed to touch the cars unless asked.

Im a bitch. At Walmart like 3 weeks ago, this woman was trying to park in a spot that the people were still getting into. Nobody could get around this stupid bitch and it was taking forever. I was mad because 2 spots away, there was an open space... 2 FUCKING SPOTS AWAY. Then, the bitch almost backs up into me to give the people more room to back out. By this time I'm PISSED. I sat there for 2 minutes waiting on her. She finally parks, I haul ass around her, park the 2 spots away, get out of my truck and start walking towards walmart. As I passed by her I said really loud "OOOO GEEEE OOOO MYYYYY IM SOOOOO tired from walking that *starts yelling* TWO EXTRA FUCKING SPOTS. WHAT EVER WILL I DOOOOOO" then she flips me off. haha.

he wanted matching beach cruisers. advertisement said "while supplies last." when he came in at 6-7 all the womens bikes were sold. He got upset that he couldn't get matching bikes for him and his wife. I went to get a manager to talk to him about a raincheck. She never talked to him for some reason. he got angry

God I HATE people that do that. Walmart is the worst about it. Several times I've seen people park their asses behind a "about to be open" parking spot when the people in the spot in question are JUST getting to their car and have a cart chock-full of bags to load up. I swear one time I saw this happening, parked (near the far end of an aisle 'cause I don't mind walking), got my crap, came out, and they were just then getting out of their car and walking into the store.

Anywho, I try to be a courteous pedestrian. When people stop for me at intersections and such, I usually jog across so I get out of their way quickly and give them a brief wave. I watch for lights changing, I try to be aware of people driving around in parking lots, etc. #1, I don't want to get run over and #2, I hate when pedestrians are dicks to me, so why should I try to aggravate someone else?

i hurry across roads as well, dont walk into traffic of course and park wherever.
when im stuck behind a mental midget white knuckled and fighting for a parking spot right in front of the store i look around and if its clear move around them in a faster than usual maneuver. i did this the other night at walmart and was right at the doors of the store when the person finally parked their car.
that gave me a tinsey bit of joy to my black soul and god hating heart
