If you only watch that, then you're a shoe-in vote for Mitt Romney, or Rudy Guliani, or John McCain (a person I used to respect...), or whatever other lame candidate tosses their name in the field on either side. -------------------- |

all news stations sway one way or the other. Im sick of everyone bitching about Fox News. Watch all the stations and you might get a decent round-about idea of what is going on.

I just don't watch the news and I don't plan on voting.

Bias exist in the media, no waaaaaaay!#!@!?? I just hate the way Fox News tries to portray itself as "Fair and Balanced" when it's the right wing equivalent of CBS....but, that's for another thread. [quote]I just don't watch the news and I don't plan on voting. Do you read any news/get news from other places than just word of mouth? I'll admit that I probably wont vote. I dont see a candidite yet that I agree with. Im sick of voting for the lesser of the evils. Whats the point in voting at that point?
I read the news. I hardly watch it. Im not home when the world news is on. I only like watching the world news. Thank god for the internet. I agree with you though. Just like I said... why vote if you have to pick which one you would rather NOT see in office. thats awful |

I just don't like when people don't vote for all the wrong reasons. 1.) They don't research any candidates. 2.) They don't research the issues. etc...etc...If you simply don't agree with any candidate, then I could see not voting as a viable option for you. What I rail against is complete and total political apathy by many in our generation. -------------------- |

QUOTE Do you read any news/get news from other places than just word of mouth? The key verb in my post was "watch". So, in answer to your question, yes. -------------------- A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? since i cant reply to Zach's post...how about this:
maybe Fox News seems right-winged, because most other media channels (ABC, PBS, CBC, NBC, CNN) are so far to the left? -------------------- ![]() |

I think in Fox News' begining that was the case. Over the years though they have pulled more noticeably to the right. Whatever though, I watch many news outlets when I can. I personally prefer NPR, AP, Reuters, and such outlets as those. This post has been edited by Psykopath: Apr 24 2007, 05:44 PM -------------------- |
