we'll tear them a new asshole prob more like 40s-50s at least for us. we were 2 TDs away from going to the big 12 championship, now we're going to the shit bowl in the desert. this is pretty much the only bowl i hoped we wouldn't get. the only way i'll go to this bowl is if i can get lucky enough (the word miracle comes to mind) to have my company send us out to our tempe, az office that weekend for a "visit". just thought i would quote this again |

I like how when Tech starts RUNNING the ball, they start scoring. Their shitty pass offense doesnt always work which is what I have been saying all along. Furthers my point that you all are a bunch of ignorant, fat ass Tech fans who get butt hurt when a GIRL critiques their football team. So help me god if someone edits this post. Wow, so bitter. Lubbock/Tech was so bad that you have to toss random blanket insults across the internet. How cute...and extremely pathetic. -------------------- |

i couldn't watch the game... and i doubt it's been torrented... so if anybody has a copy, pm me please?
edit: why does Jessica's always start calling everybody a bunch of names whenever someone doesn't agree with her? If you're looking for people that will always agree with you, don't bother using the internet. No wonder nobody takes you seriously. I knew West Texas was windy and dusty but I didn't know the wind was so strong that it could imbed sand firmly in chicks' vaginas. Apparently, at least in Jessica's case, it can. |

I dont mind that you shortened my post, but please comment under your own screen name. Whats funnier, doing the hahahahhaha post early, or a team that comes back from a 31 point deficit ? 24 points in the 4th quarter ? I'm going with that one. But like, the Tech offense sucks, and everybody has them figured out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats why it never works on ANYBODY ! -------------------- QUOTE (Lance) now we have some dude from argentina wondering how to fuck dogmeat |

I am still laughing. I dont care how extraordinary that win was. These facts remain:
1) Some of you were saying that Tech deserved a better bowl game. Why? They didnt have a very good season. 2) Most of you were saying that it would be a slaughter. 3) The running game was utilized yesterday which is something that I have been stressing for a while. Dont be stupid and say that its the passing game that won the game. If it wasnt for some nice first down runs in the second half, Tech wouldnt have won that game. Keep up with the retarded "sand in vagina" jokes. I'll still be laughing at how stupid the majority of Tech fans are. |

we didn't rush for much more than we normally do. and we had 29 first downs.. 22 passing & 5 rushing (and 2 penalties) Actually, that isn't technically correct. Texas Tech rushed for 103 yards last night against Minnesota, more than 25 yards over it's season average of 76.3 yards per game. Additionally, Shannon Woods rushed 19 times against the Gophers which was eight more than his season average of 11 carries. That bit of information by itself is a bit misleading, however, as last night the Red Raiders exceeded their season averages for points, offensive yards, passing yards, rushing yards, rushing attempts and passing attempts. If you break it down, Tech passed 81% of the time during the regular season. Last night they passed a little less, 75% of the time. It should be noted that this stat does not take into account plays that were nullified because of penalties. And it is not as if Mike Leach read Jessica's post and said, "Avast ye matey! I'm going to run the ball more in Tempe!" He usually sends two plays into the huddle, one pass and one run. The quarterback decides at the line of scrimmage which play to run. Finally, as much as I hate to, I have to agree to some extent with what she is saying (what's the saying about a blind squirrel?). Shannon Woods needs to be a central component of this offense next season, especially with the relatively inexperienced wide receiving corps that the Red Raiders will be fielding. He has carried the ball 15 times or more in four games this season and Tech won all of them. |
