reading the health and fitness forum, came across zetec saying this:

Iunno, it seemed like enough reasons for me. Got me to thinking...have I ever kept any resolutions? Do I even make any? After some thought, I realized i did keep one. For New Year's 2000, I vowed to be kind and treat others with the respect that I would want to be treated with. I kept it too. That was during my healing/dethawing period. In 2001, people showed their worst again and I reverted back to viewing people out of the corner of my eye. Curious...what are your thoughts on New Year's Resolutions? Are you going to make any? Have you ever kept any? Personally I think they are kooky and overplayed, while simulatenously kind of fun and fresh. I dunno... |

I've never made any serious New Year's resolutions. I prefer to make resolutions over the course of the year, as it occurs to me that one is needed.

ive decided that this holiday season im going to eat whatever i want and have seconds and thirds and not worry about two desserts and blah blah blah but once i move to fort worth in january im gonna be more conscious about what i buy at the grocery store. my hope is not to eat out as much.
i guess my measurable goal would be to lose 8 pounds. this should be an attainable goal since i will finally get my dog back and will be taking her for walks and such. -------------------- Forget regret

Going with what Zetec said, smokes are getting expensive in jan and they are bad for me. So, I decided that quiting smoking would be a good resolution. The other resolution I have, is working out and eating healthy so that I can get rid of this winter fat that I have built up

Hrm hrm, might as well post what resolutions I have even if they're not specifically for New Years.
1) Enjoy being single and not rush into another relationship like I always fucking do. 2) Continue working out and eating healthy. I'd love to lose about another 10 pounds. 3) Find a real job in Austin rather than just a cashiering gig. -------------------- |
