I weighed 152, opponent weighed 147.
(we'd signed at 155, but later agreed to a catch-weight of 150) I was technically 1 pound over the 151 max limit, but he agreed to the fight anyway. Damn my bathroom scale for misleading me! lol My opponent is a good 3-4 inches shorter than me, but is pretty jacked. Should be fun.

Fight didn't happen.
I was told, as I was getting my hands taped at 7pm, that my opponent's blood pressure was too high and that the fight was scrapped. They took his blood pressure 4 more times, and even took him to the emergency room (from what I was told) to see if they could get his blood pressure down. Still couldn't, and said the fight was scrapped. They randomly tell me near 9pm as I was getting ready to leave: "Zach, are you ready? You're next." My reply: "What the f---?!? You told me I wasn't fighting two hours ago." Needless to say, the fight still didn't happen. My opponent didn't need to fight with wildly fluctuating blood pressure (don't know why the promoter was trying to force the fight with such a possible major medical liability), and you don't tell one fighter the fight is off, allow the adrenaline to dump off, then suddenly throw the fight back on. You don't do that to a goddamn professional fighter. Do those fuckers understand the emotional highs and lows involved with the pre/during/and post fight time-frames?!?!? Fuckers.
