The school knew they were in the wrong because they failed to inform parents either verbally or through school literature that "gay awareness" month was taking place. There's nothing wrong with teaching children to be tolerate of individuals of other lifestyles but as chuck said acceptance of said lifestyle is a completely different matter in my opinion. Parents are paying for the education of their children and must be informed of politically motivated initiatives such as this, Especially when children so young are targeted.

A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

I agree. I think school supported relgious/lifestyle should be out of school that received government funding. Let the kids gather around the flag poll to pray, let the transgender kids wear their clothes. Just don't push it.
