This game is friggin kick ass. Using the force is very intuitive and creative. Picking up storm troopers and tossing them is fun as hell. Not to mention electrocuting everything in sight. There's a pretty neat setup that has you press specific buttons when you're up against a boss, to do kinda "finishing move" kind of attacks. And the leveling up system with upgrading powers & combos, and your lightsaber is pretty sweet. The storyline is pretty cool too, it's kinda like playing a movie. Definitely one of the better 360 games I've played in a while.

Definitely one of the better 360 games I've played in a while. Its a shitty version of psy-ops. I fully plan on getting rid of it now that i've beat this mediocre game. The finishing moves suck... i'd rather be able to ...you know... CHOOSE how to kill something. You can't target snipers and they kill you in two shots. You can bring down a star destroyer but you can't pick up the big metal storm trooper. Oh and you can pull people on the other side of a force field, but troopers with PERSONAL shields can't be picked up, shocked, or smashed... ok. The levels are stupid at many parts. Oh and if this game would simply open up other characters to play through the game with (like in psy-ops) it would be a lot more replayable. Further, if you could actually grow your force strength so that things that once posed a challenge could be obliterated (like other force users, or the bigger objects) it would be better. Lastly, psy-ops had the ability to take control of someone and make them committ suicide... was awesome... why couldn't this at least steal that too. Meh, im regretting giving any money to Lucas... i knew i fucked up about an hour after buying it. -------------------- |

It sounds like you didn't figure out that you can pick up objects and throw them... I.e. snipers, you pick up something and throw it at them while you're out of range. Same w/the troopers with shields. The big metal storm troopers, you can force push to the ground then beat the shit out of. Also you do become much more powerful if you spend your points wisely and use the combos a lot.
And the "this _______ sucks because ________ is better" is really a poor way to evaluate something. Though if you didn't like it you didn't like it. /shrug I'm sure you can still get a pretty good price for it at Gamestop and recoup some of that terrible money you gave to Lucas |

Fully aware of everything in the game. Snipers make you drop shit when they shoot you... and when they are behind a gaurd rail so you can't hit them with anything... that makes it retarded... following? and no shit you can force push metal troopers...pretty sure thats not picking them up. and im fully maxed on points... they are pretty worthless. They open up pretty crappy stuff. This was a HUGE disappointment of a game... i was looking forward to it... but they did so little with it. and comparing a shitty game to the game it ripped off (badly) is a GREAT way to show how it doesn't add up and i am going to get the money for it, but im hoping to give it, at gunstops buy price, to a friend so he doesn't get ripped off by buying thier used games at a dollar discount. *EDIT* Oh i forgot to add that the story of the game is awesome. Better than ANY of the latest shit movies lucas wrote. I just found the game play mediocre. Fun to throw stormtroopers, but once you get to the "better" storm troopers the force becomes useless for some reason. If by a second round through you were so powerful that you could man-handle them too, then i'd be fine with it, but it just seemed like instead of giving good reason to make the game harder (more force using gaurd), they just made random things impervious to certain force powers for no reason. -------------------- |

I haven't had any problem throwing stuff at snipers. You do it while you're out of their range, or while hiding behind something.
In what way did FU rip off this other game? Yeah I do like the story, would make a great movie |

Yeah I do like the story, would make a great movie How far are you in game? Wait til the last levels where they are either: 1. too high to target 2. too high and far to see and throw at accurately, 3. too high, far, and behind gaurd rails on a cat walk (only way to get to them is to box jump to get at them point blank). The last level is you in a box with at-sts, metal troopers, and snipers ... all on you at same time... its annoying. oh and it ripped of psy-ops (from original xbox)... its a game where you pick people up just like in this game. You could shoot flames (instead of lightning), could mind push etc. Also, i think there was a lightning but its been a while since i played it. One of the things that were better was mind control (if light side can "persuade" then dark should be able to take over others). Theres a 2nd psy-ops coming out that i can't wait for. oh and whats with the lightsaber in this game basically being a baseball bat. Can't cut through anything but droids, and it takes DOZENS of hits on otherwise stupid things. That irritated me. -------------------- |

I'm not real sure how many levels there are, if I recall right the last thing I did yesterday was disable that big communications thing on Kashykk. So I dunno maybe it gets worse. But I've got tossing shit at baddies down to a T so far
And ok, maybe it sounds like similar themes with the other game, but star wars, the force, shooting lightning, etc was around probably before some of the makers of this other game were born. So I dunno if you mean the controls are similar or what, but I don't see how you could possibly say that things like using the force to push someone or shooting lightning is copying some other game. As far as not being able to cut through everything, I don't see how you could have a game where that was the case. If it were you'd probably be upset that the game was so easy. |

Finished the game on the lowest level tonight, damn they really need to make this into a movie. Would make the absolute perfect Star Wars Episode 3.5.
