haha i dunno... i guess if i was having pains in my abdomen area i wouldn't immediately think OMG MY GALL BLADDER. Oh. I get it. I had a gallbladder flair up before. It was inflamed and shit, and they were possibly going to remove it. I decided to try alternate eating habits to see if that would fix the problem. My mom and grandma both had theirs removed. I think gallbladder problems run in the family. Right before my mom had hers removed, she couldn't eat anything except for white rice without throwing up. She had problems for years though. Now that she has had it removed, she still gets sick if she eats too much greasy foods, but it's not as bad.

haha i dunno... i guess if i was having pains in my abdomen area i wouldn't immediately think OMG MY GALL BLADDER. ... my grandfather would. GRRRRRRRRR, he's such a hypochondiac! He recently had his gall-bladder taken out via laproscopic surgery, which is usually an outpatient type thing. He went into Covenant on Friday and is just now checking out. He complained to me on the phone about "this pain in my left leg from my hip to my kneee....It doesn't hurt or nothin', just feels funny *whimper* Reckon' it'll ever go away, Zach??" I told him it was bed-soreness and to stop overreacting. Right now I'm driving over to his place to help him walk into the house. He's the healthiest 86 year old man I've ever seen (has NO trouble walking whatsoever, and was walking around the hospital just fine), but LOVES the attention being "sick" draws. GRRRRR Love him, but DAMN!!!! -------------------- |

... I don't know about leg pains, but many people complain about severe back pain for about a week after they have their gallbladder removed. Something about they have to pump your abdomen full of CO2 to do the surgery, and then all that CO2 goes to your muscles and shit and is very painful.

Anyways, who knows... maybe I am overreacting about this itching thing. It just would make sense because I itch so bad that I actually have tears running down my face. I'm going to talk to the doctor on Thursday. Meanwhile, to give myself peace of mind about the baby, I am going to avoid foods that make the gallbladder and liver work hard.

That sucks, but he is your old mans' old man. Yeah, still. Annoying as hell that he just won't listen to his family when it comes to those stranger complaints. Doctors make a killing off his Medicare card. =/ -------------------- |
