I get a call from my accountant yesterday letting me know they finally finished my tax return and that I owe $3790 to the IRS. WHAT? Told em they better recount that because I made the same last year and actually got $400 back. Only difference this year is I sold about $8k worth of stock, and capital gains tax should have been under four figures on that. She told me that the figure was so high because I had no business expenses. WHAT? I meticulously kept and turned in every gas receipt, every meal receipt, every expense from buying equipment, every invoice from work done to my truck, every donation writeoff from Goodwill, etc. I made the mistake of being disorganized and not saving receipts last year, not this year. The stupid bitch claims she never got em, even though my mom claims she turned them in. Either way, I'm fucked out of $3800

Oh, and the day before that I went to deposit $1200 in to my checking account, and the lady asked me which checking account I wanted it deposited to. Umm, the only one I have with Compass genius. Turns out I have two, apparently. My mom, unbeknownst to me and without my consent, opened an acct in both of our names, I guess to pay for my health insurance and shit. I told the lady three times I want the money deposited in MY account. I go to check today and it hasn't posted, and I went up there to figure out why (it was cash) and the dumbass says it was deposited in the joint acct. Fine, whatever, transfer it in to my acct immediately. Can't do that, apparently she has to authorize it as well. Fucking morons. An account in my name was opened without my say so, they deposited it in the wrong acct even though I told them 3 times which acct to deposit it in, and now I can't access my own money because they're careless idiots. And people wonder why I hate banks
