Well, we didn't hook up, but we made out.... oh and by made out, I mean kissed for like a couple minutes and that was it.

Austin Good. You know him I think. I told him I was 17 (I had just started at Tech), and he told me he was too. Umm... He looked like he had the body of a 21 year old. He was ripped as hell and was mature (or so I thought)... I asked to see his driver's license. He wasn't lying. In fact, he was a month younger than me. Him and this girl named Robin (who used to post on these boards) were the only people at Tech that I knew who were 17 instead of 18 when I started.

FUNNY THING IS, IF SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN HONEST ABOUT HER AGE I PROBABLY WOULD HAVE DATED HER. I'M NOT OPPOSED TO DATING AN 18 YEAR OLD AS LONG AS THEY'RE OUT IN COLLEGE AND ARE MATURE.

My husband is over 2 years younger than me... actually, almost 3; but he acts older than me. He's all super responsible and stuff. I can see where someone younger can be mature, but it's a rarity these days.

I KNOW SOME DIPSHIT IS PROBABLY GONNA MAKE A SNIDE COMMENT ABOUT THE FACT I CAN'T GET GIRLS MY AGE...I CAN.

MY THEORY IS THIS: IF YOU'RE A 27 YEAR OLD FEMALE AND YOU'RE STILL WITHOUT A RING ON YOUR FINGER, SOMETHING IS WRONG. YOU HAVE SOME FATAL CHARACTER FLAW THAT MAKES MEN NOT WANT TO SPEND THE REST OF THEIR LIVES WITH YOU.

I'LL ACTUALLY DATE ANYONE OF ANY AGE (WITHIN REASON, 18-30ISH) AS LONG AS THEY'RE COOL. MATURITY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN AGE ANYWAY

and your "27 year old must have a character flaw". not everybody's goal in life is to get married and pump out 3 kids before they hit 30. what a stupid ass thing to say.

Believe it or not, Chuck, I do know some 18 and 19 year olds who are very mature. I also know a lot of cougars who are immature as all hell. Generally, age correlates with maturity, but that's not always the case

well i didnt say old = mature. but i always find the "18 but very mature" crap hilarious. "hi I just graduated high school I'm so mature!"

I think I was pretty mature at 18. Then again, I was also a senior in college by that point... *shrugs*

At the very least, I was a helluva lot better at taking care of the apartment bills than my 20-something roomate was.

ex fiance told me she was 18. her friends said she was 18. her PARENTS told me she was 18.

turned out she was 15 (i was 19)



luckily she had just divorced (was going through the process) and was by law legally considered an adult by those standards.
