The death of Eight Belles at the Kentucky Derby provided the perfect opportunity for these loons started begging for more airtime. They want the jockey suspended for knowingly riding an injured horse and if not that they want him suspended for "mercilessly whipping the horse until its legs gave out." Oh and apparently they want Eight Belles team to pay back all of the 400,000 purse they won on Saturday.

What a crock, i get so tired of this. I'm all for the ethical treatment of animals, but do they not realize these horses are treated better than most humans? What owner or trainer is going to knowingly harm a $2 million dollar animal?

Yeah those horses are about the best taken care of animals on the face of the planet. I'm not sure what would have been more ethical. Everyone knows that horses with leg injuries cannot survive.

maybe next they will start to fight for american football players who continue to work with injuries.
