maybe don't use the zipper, only use the button flap. That should give you an extra 3 inches of room in the bag.

yea, or invest in that cold weather suit you have. i could leave the top uncovered in that. but really my only complaint will be during winter camping, if i can't learn to sleep comfortably inside it. badass warm sleeping bag, but a guy my size isn't ment for a mummy style bag.

That winter suit owns all....in all honesty, it negates the necessity of a sleeping bag (except in extreme situations).
