I'm thinking of talking to Nissan about ending my lease early. I know there are penalty fees for backing out early, but my truck is in really good condition (except I'm like 13,000 miles over where I should be right now...YIKES). I figure if I offer to BUY a Nissan car they might make a deal with me. I'm looking at the Altima. Basically, it boils down to gas prices being too high and needing something a little more family-friendly. The Altima has a five star safety rating. Anyone know anything about the car that they want to share? Like known problems, etc. I plan on reading customer reviews before I do anything, but I seriously am sick of spending $25 on gas every time i decide to drive to San Antonio or Austin for an errand.

The Rubicon was a good start, as it did save you some time and money on the drivetrain if you were looking to build a casual rock crawler, but I'd have much rather seen something I didn't have to dick with at all. -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!

3 gallon gas tank!?? so someone puts some flashy fiberglass around a motorcycle and suddenly its the wave of the future? It's a gas/electric hybrid. A motorcycle gets like 40mpg, not 100. -------------------- |

I want to do a SFA conversion on the truck I have right now, re-work the top end of the motor and supercharge it so I'm getting about 800 horsepower out of the motor, then put a set of 44" boggers on and go drive through college campus' of incredibly liberal schools and beat the shit out of every idiot frat boy who comes and tries to fight me to get down some liberalist sorority slut's pants

Yeah, they had plans in 2006 to begin production on the "Jeep Gladiator" which was essentially a crew cab jeep wrangler truck. But plans fell through, unfortunately. So that site has corrected that error! =D -------------------- |

It's a gas/electric hybrid. right but my curious self wonders, if it's 100mpg, 350mi range... why the hell not put a 5-6 gallon tank on there? or does that extra 20 lbs weigh it down too much and lower theh mileage to 40-50? A motorcycle gets like 40mpg, not 100. yeah and go 0-100 in like 8 seconds.. i'm sure if you geared down a reg road bike and gussied it up with aero panels you could get 100 out of it. |

You'd have to up the battery capacity along with the gas tank size in order to maintain 100mpg.

a student states about the money her family earns and her feelings on the importance " The goal is to use the money to glorify God. "
ive never heard that before and why it was in this paper i have no idea. but from the context in the paper it does not sound like her idea of the purpose of money is for charity. so glorifying god = contributing money to a super church? You'd have to up the battery capacity along with the gas tank size in order to maintain 100mpg. Why is that? The battery is charged/discharged at the same rate, just that the there is more usable fuel. -------------------- Southern Rock, beer and bears!
