Ok, so I've recently rediscovered my love for camping. Seriously, its a blast, I love it.
I have a 3 room tent, two coolers, lamps, flashlights, gear, you know the usual camping stuff, and I stay packed and ready to go at a moment's notice. So would anyone else be interested in setting up a Techsan's camping trip? There are a ton a great places in the Hill Country and I know a lot of us either live in the austin area or make homebase here or in DFW. |

I'd be open to something in the Austin area. Could probably even nab my old backpack from Waco.

Spec - my g/f would go, and she's a cool chick. Maybe some female coworkers i know might be up for it.
I'm looking for a date in May, so maybe May 23-25th? Its a weekend. Options: (My favorites) Enchanted Rock - beautiful, decent hiking, near Fredricksburg, and clean Inks lake - VERY pretty, lots of water to play in, easy going campsites, an hour or less from Austin, also very close to Longhorn Cavern. I would also bring my dogs, one pointer/spaniel mix weighing around 55 lbs, and a 65lb choco lab |

(had a friend in the dorms went camping.... forgot his shoes... he spent the entire time hiking in sandels) -------------------- |

I like to hang out and hike. I don't want my schedule to be full, but I'd like some activities. Go to a cave, hike, play in a river/lake, but also sit around with a cold beer, a good fire, and a hot woman. Just getting away and doing things I won't do in my office.
