OK, so....it was good, but REALLY hardcore rigid fans of the comic will be annoyed with the ending and a bit of a change in plot.
But, for the most part, he followed a lotof the comic almost panel for panel.
I give it two thumbs up.....especially for the full frontal Dr Manhattan and sex scene.

We went to a bar here in Montrose, and it was PACKED with Texas fans....there were 3 of us Tech fans, and those motherfuckers just ate every single nasty comment that they made all night!!

I feel ya.....I've been staying at my mom's place so I don't fry, but they aren't projecting my area until "After Monday..." whenever that will be. I think it's gonna be a while because I drove around today and there's several trees still laying on power lines.

I also drove by the Fiesta on I-10 and Bunker Hill, and there were like 10 power trucks just sitting there....the worker's standing beside them or in camp chairs. Why the hell are these guys sitting around?

Montrose and most of midtown is all dark still. Most businesses are still closed/without power, and all of the residences definitely are without. You drive around and all you hear is the sound of generators working.

Honestly, I am so over thisshit.....I appreciate my mom's hospitality, but I am ready to be at home and comfortable.

Break a leg!! Remember, if the interview gets to a point where they're geting more personal with you and the mood relaxes a bit, it's a good thing! I feel a lot more confident on interviews after having been on like 10 of them LOL

My suggestion, don't be afraid to try with placement agencies, but try to find ones that only do direct-hire stuff, or you'll get fucked like I did.

After looking for months on-end, I finally got another job.....

If you didn't know...I got stuck for the last year and 4 months working for this damn company as a TEMP. It fucking sucked. I had no benefits, they were paying me shit, and they abused me. Well, I FINALLY got another job....and thank god it's direct-hire, better pay, and full benefits!

KC, hold on there and keep looking! Don't give up, and try as many placement places until you get lucky. I got this job through an agency that found my resume on CareerBuilder, and I got the job offer one week after signing up with them.

Well, I am at my sister's in Katy....power has been restored at her apartment but not at my mom's house.
Power is back on in spotty areas.

I ventured late this evening to my duplex and its fine, but there are huge trees that were snapped in two. Montrose is completely dark when I left.

I've got some pictures that I will send when I can.

all is ok I'm on my cell phone.

No power. I'm waiting for roads to clear so I can go check out my apartment.

Right now I still have power....for the time being. I know areas all around me have gone dark.

Writing this while I can.

Winds are raging....the rain has come down and stopped and started. It's a constant strong whistling.

My friends have reported via text that their power has been out since around 11pm and they're now hearing trees snapping.

News is reporting the eye is over Galveston about now and the tail end is going to be worse.
This totally sucks.
