thats cool. I have an older duel core amd w/a decent vid card, but im most likely going to be building a new beast as this one just really isnt that upgradable in its current state. My vid card was the first on the list of upgrades and was hoping there wouldnt be much trouble running it with my current setup, by the way your system is setup mines not too horribly behind yours in video performance so i should be ok i hope.

so with the new shadows thing does it slow down the performance any that you can tell? I noticed you put 4, so I'm assuming there are different levels of quality of the new shadows?

yeah they pushed thru a nice update tonight, increased lvl cap to 80, unlocked a few more dungeons, including the new Caverns of Time : Stratholme place. I'm really looking forward to that one as it was one of my favorite WC3 missions (Culling of Stratholme)

There are a few websites such as wowhead and wowwiki that are giving away beta keys and the new Tyrael pet from Diablo (looks kinda cool) if you can answer some trivia type "what is this screenshot from" and scavenger hunt type games.

Im trying to get a key too but i wont pay for one. Hell I've thought about just emailing a random GM and asking nicely for a key

im not sure how they handle the distribution of the keys, i know your supposed to opt in on the website, other than that i honestly think its random, but im sure having such a good account history couldn't have hurt much. Oh after you download the massive client, theres a few patches that are going to take a while, newest version is 3.0.1.8788.

The cinematic for WoTLK was posted on the wow main website today, looks pretty awesome like all other blizzard cinematics have so far imho.

It seems like they are actually going thru the classes and making some good changes. I play a prot warrior so theres not too much that I've seen other than Shockwave that just jumps out at me as something that might be good. Fury and Arms are looking good, Titan's Grip is going to be cool for sure. More rage generation plus better dps is always good I think. Getting tired of doing lvl 20 pally damage on my tank Casters seem to be getting quite a bit of love so far.

Well I've talked to dealers and most of them dont want it since its not 100% restored, like the Classic Motor place. A salesman was interested so Im hoping he calls or something but im not holding my breath.

I'm working on getting a better camera so I can actually take some good clear photos and maybe a little movie of the car running or something to show people whats up.

I'm kind of afraid to just leave it in some parking lot though, too many dickheads that could just as easily vandalize the car and screw me over worse by doing that.

Hopefully something positive happens with thrifty nickel. I posted it all here cuz I figured maybe someone knew someone who knew someone or something that like that might be interested

Honestly, I've only made one ad in the "Cars and Trucks" section of the lbk craigslist, i included 4 pictures, as well as contact info and price, I figured that would be the best way to ensure that nothing crazy happend. I got an email from them this morning saying they had flagged and removed my post, so I'm going thru the process to see why it got flagged. Someone said maybe because of the blurry pics, but i dont have much experiance posting stuff on craigslist so I'll just have to wait and see what I did wrong.

I live off of 92nd and University, and drive it around with a big sign on it w/a number, but so far no one is really been serious, or they want to do monthy payments, which im not trying to do so I dont get burned.

ok then any suggestions? I had an appraiser say i might get 13 thats why I used that figure. Realistically, since it needs some work I doubt i'll get it, but its a good place to start.

I've tried craigslist and they keep reporting and pulling my posts, and Im really not sure why or what I'm doing wrong, still waiting to hear about that.

i dont play as much as i used to, once i hit 70 and started running kara a lot of people i play with just got bored and quit. But i am looking forward to messing around with a deathknight, and maybe leveling my orc prot warrior to 80.

i did the opt in a while back so hopefully i get lucky and get a key in the mail

Heres a few stats, more info upon request

400 Pontiac motor, original from factory, has Accel distributor, plugs and wires, Edelbrock 4 barrel carb. K&N Filter 84,366 miles, appears to be original. New rear leaf spring suspension w/4 way adjustment. Has A/C but needs a new compressor. Rear end has at least 3.73's in it, possibly 4.10's. @70mph it runs @3500rpm. 4 Speed Automatic transmission, pretty sure it has a shift kit in it. Survivor car, everything is original and matches the vin's to the best that I've been able to research on it. The Shaker hood openings have not been cut out, and the air cleaner pan needs to be replaced, previous owner cut a hole in it for some stupid reason

I would assume its about 96% restored, needs the front ground effects, stock rims and should be all there. The paint is very clean, there is -very- minor rust on the rear quarter on the outside shell only. A replacement metal patch panel costs about 50 bucks from year one. The bumpers need repainting, and the stickers are all there and all original, but need to be replaced as they're kinda ripping in places due to being 30 yrs old

I've driven this car around town, and back and forth to levelland about 4 times, and it runs REALLY good.

I had Joe at A&B muffler shop install 3 inch true dual exhaust with a 3" H Pipe, 2 Flowmaster Super 44 Mufflers and turndowns at the back axle. I have a set of Hedman long tubes to install on it, just its a pain in the ass to do it and other things have taken my time from working on it.


Im selling it just because the extra money would be nice to finish up on some repairs around the house, and I need something a bit more economical to commute back and forth to school in.
